CUSAT LLB Admission: Courses, Eligibility, Pattern, Timeline and Fees

Updated 2 November 2026 by the faculty of Mentors Law Entrance Coaching Centre, Ernakulam. Rules can change every year – confirm in the official notification at admissions.cusat.ac.in.

The School of Legal Studies (SLS), CUSAT at Thrikkakara, Kochi is one of the oldest law schools in India. It admits students only through the CUSAT Common Admission Test (CAT) – KLEE ranks are not used here, so if you want a CUSAT law seat you must write CUSAT CAT separately.

Courses

  • 5-year BBA LLB (Hons)
  • 5-year B.Com LLB (Hons)
  • 5-year B.Sc (Computer Science) LLB (Hons)
  • 3-year LLB for graduates (separate entrance test)

Each course has a small intake – around 30 regular seats for each 5-year course, plus supernumerary seats – so competition for every seat is high.
